Originally established to serve 14 students from the Jewish communities of Middlesex County, MAYHS now draws nearly 150 students from 35 different cities and towns throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

The Moshe Aaron Yeshiva High School experience develops students who are critical thinkers, with strong spiritual and moral values. MAYHS’ dual curriculum promotes academic achievement and instills a lifelong appreciation of learning. By immersing teens in a warm environment which emphasizes traditional values, personal growth and educational excellence MAYHS faculty not only educate, but they inspire our students and establish a solid foundation for their futures.

The fundamental principle that guides MAYHS is a commitment to fostering a lifelong love of Torah, Torah study and Torah values.  The Limmudei Kodesh curriculum emphasizes the many facets of Torah education, including Chumash, Talmud, Hebrew language, Jewish History and Israel. Our students are encouraged to continue their post-graduate Torah studies by attending seminary or Yeshiva in Israel.

MAYHS has an equivalent commitment to provide the finest secular, college preparatory education that has enabled our graduates to be accepted and achieve academic distinction at the finest colleges and universities. Our graduates will have the tools to enter and contribute at the forefront of their chosen professions and the confidence to fulfill themselves personally as active members of their communities.

MAYHS provides a nurturing yet challenging academic environment that allows each student to maximize his/her skills and potential.  Our faculty encourages and guides our students to succeed in rigorous Torah and general studies programs.  Faculty members are chosen on the basis of demonstrated excellence in their subject specialties as well as their outstanding teaching skills.

MAYHS incorporates a state-mandated high school curriculum within its general studies program and is accredited from Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Secondary Schools.

MAYHS recognizes the need for, and encourages, a rich and varied set of extracurricular programs for our students.  These programs include Chesed, or community service projects, the arts, athletics, school publications and academic teams. Participation in events to demonstrate support for Israel and the Jewish community is encouraged.

MAYHS exemplifies its commitment to Torah and Middot by making all of our students feel welcome regardless of background and affiliation. Our students are taught by example that a Torah life encompasses both the religious and the secular, and that education in all disciplines can fit within an Orthodox Torah life style.  Our students exemplify the finest Middot as committed Torah Jews in both their religious and personal lives.
